Brow Lift

Aging around your eyebrows and forehead can cause your facial cues to be misread. For example, your resting face may appear tired, sad or angry. Signs of aging can include wrinkles, a sagging forehead, hooded eyelids, and asymmetrical or uneven brows.

A brow lift—also known as a forehead lift—can “open” your eyes and give you a more refreshed look. As the brows are slightly elevated, the drooping skin above the eye can be lifted, giving you a more vibrant and alert expression. Horizontal wrinkles on your forehead and frown lines between your brows can also be improved.

Many times a brow lift is done in combination with other procedures such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.  This outpatient procedure usually takes 1 to 2 hours with either general anesthesia or a local anesthesia with sedation.  Most patients are back to work in 7 to 10 days.
